Square Dancing in Hot Springs Village

Hot Springs Village offers square dancing at several levels. Mainstream and Plus are danced by the Desoto Square Dance Club and Advanced by the Village A-Team.
C1 and C2 are danced by the Phantom C Dancers.

The Desoto Square Dance Club of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas formed in 1972 when a group of villagers decided they needed a dance club The club has been together ever since and on Thursday evenings they meet at the Coronado Center, 150 Ponderosa Lane, for dancing and socializing from 7 to 9pm. They do not usually dance on Holy Thursday, the week of 4th of July, the Thursday before Labor Day and the weeks of Christmas and New Year. Please check if you are planning to come.

Dave Towry serves as the caller for all the square dancing in the village. He has been calling for more than 40 years. He not only calls here, but travels the world to call square dances.

Hot Springs Village also offers Advanced dancing, A-1 and A-2. They meet on most Wednesday evenings at 7:30 PM in Room 6 of the Coronado Center.

The C-1/C-2 group (Phantom Dancers) Usually dance the 1st, 2nd & 4th & 5th Tuesdays, 7:30 to 9:30, at the Coronado Center, however, we will not be dancing during the months of January, February and March.
