Gene called to 6 squares the first night he subbed for Dave Towry, who is recuperating from surgery. The only low point of the evening was when Milt Matzek fell and the Paramedics were called in. After a few hours at National Park Medical, it was determined that he did not break anything. That was good news!

Congratulations Graduates!

The cakewalk was a lot of fun and raised about $90. Thanks to all who baked or participated in any way. The cakes were attractive and appetizing. It was also great to see the students out there trying their luck. We happened to win a cake (diet-buster chocolate fudge brownie nut) and it was fabulous! I would love to have the recipe!

The Sweetheart Benefit Dance raised over $6,000 for The Caring Place. Thanks to all who helped in any way.

Shown below is a snapshot taken at the Sweetheart Dance. Susan White's back, Gordon White and Ursula Scharoll are shown.

The check for the proceeds of the 2010 Sweetheart Benefit Dance was presented to Lynn Reeves, Director of The Caring Place by Bunny Johnson, who was in charge of Solicitations. Accompanying her were Ned Cole, chairman of the event and Gert, and Ken Krabbe, event facilitator. Not shown is Harold Randol, Computer guru.
