C1 and C2 Dancers

C1 started as a tape group ("Garage Group"). After several years, the group started to learn C2 with Bob Hawthorne continuing as the leader. In the meantime, Dave Towry had moved into Hot Springs Village and started a C-1 class. They finished lessons and continued to dance. Dave also called a bi-weekly C-2 dance and called monthly for the tape group.

Bob and Doris Hawthorne recently retired from square dancing, leaving a void. The tape group decided to merge with Dave's group, as most were dancing with him, anyhow.

The C-2 group dances on Sunday evenings at 7:30 in a private home and the C-1 group dances on Monday evenings at 7:00 in a private home.
