C1 and C2 Dancers

There is no C dance on August 31st.

The C1/C2 group (Phantom Dancers) usually dance the 1st, 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of the month. They meet at the Coronado Center from 7:30 to 9:30 PM

Our sympathy also goes out to Manny Schorer and the family of Rogene Schorer. Rogene passed away Thursday, April 22nd, 2010. Both Peggy and Rogene will be missed very much.

C1 started as a tape group ("Garage Group"). After several years, the group started to learn C2 with Bob Hawthorne continuing as the leader. In the meantime, Dave Towry had moved into Hot Springs Village and started a C-1 class. They finished lessons and continued to dance. Dave also called a bi-weekly C-2 dance and called monthly for the tape group.

Bob and Doris Hawthorne recently retired from square dancing, leaving a void. The tape group decided to merge with Dave's group, as most were dancing with him, anyhow.
