Square Dancing in Hot Springs Village

Hot Springs Village offers square dancing at several levels. Mainstream and Plus are danced by the Desoto Square Dance Club, Advanced by the Village A-Team and Challenge (C-1 and C-2) are also available.

The Desoto Square Dance Club of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas formed in 1972 when a group of villagers decided they needed a dance club The club has been together ever since and on Thursday evenings they meet at the Coronado Center for dancing and socializing. They do not usually dance on Holy Thursday, the week of 4th of July, and the weeks of Christmas and New Year. Please check if you are planning to come.

Dave Towry serves as the caller for all the square dancing in the village. He has been calling for more than 30 years. He not only calls here, but travels the world to call square dances.

Hot Springs Village also offers Advanced dancing, A-1 and A-2. They meet on most Wednesday evenings at 7:30 PM in Room 6 of the Coronado Center.

The C-2 group meets in a private home on most Sunday evenings at 7:30.

The C-1 group meets in a private home on most Monday evenings at 7:00
